Vernazza is an historical
village, located on a steep
cliff cultivated by olive-trees
and vineyard.
This village more than others
has maintained the look of sea
villageand and has a safe
natural sea port.
The house-towers of
Vernazza are
covered by a dense system of
narrow alleys called "carruggi"
where houses and streets are
decorated with loggias and
refined arcades.
We recommend to visit
the “Santa Margherita di Antiochia”
church, located on a rocky cliff, the
Castle of the Doria located on a cliff
dropping sheer to the sea dominating the
village.
